COOU 100L Students to resume 13th August for their first semester exams


The management of  Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) previously known as Anambra State University has announced the resumption date for 100L students.

According to a press release disclosed by the COOU Student’s Union Government (SUG) President, Rtr Comr. Kizito C. Okemadu, 100L students are expected to resume on Thursday,13th of August, 2020. This will enable them to complete the year as their end of semester exams is scheduled to commence on the 20th of August, 2020. 

After the exams, students will be allowed to go back home before the federal government fully decides on the resumption date of schools amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The management has ensured that COVID-19 measures will be put in place and advises all students to take precautions.

 Solidarity Greetings from the Students’ Union Government Secretariat.

We humbly use this platform to officially inform all amiable Eagles and Falcons on the new development on ground.

Firstly, We Start by thanking all the students of this great institution on their compliance with the State government over the COVID-19 lock down which has lasted for some months now.

 We thank you all and equally advise you to keep all the rules we are bid to in other to stay safe from this pandemic Virus.

 Secondly, in sequence to the meeting held by the University management which was chaired by our amiable Vice Chancellor Prof Greg Nwakoby, and the management came to conclusion that all first year students are bide to resume school on Thursday 13th August 2020 and start off their first semester examination on 20th August, 2020 which will last for a period of two weeks; afterwhich they depart back to their various homes immediately.

 Thirdly, on Resumption, strictly adhere to the rules and regulations concerning COVID-19 as will be provided by the University management.
